About Our School District

The Manchester Township School District has three elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school serving approximately 3200 students in grades K-12, plus special education Pre-School. The district also manages the state-funded Regional Day School in nearby Jackson, NJ.

Manchester is identified as a “B” factor district on a scale of A-H (with A being the lowest) for the socio-economic make-up of its students.  Approximately 17%  of the district’s students qualify for the Federal free and reduced lunch program.  Our community is the home to many large retirement communities, with 58% of our residents over age 65.  The district faces many funding challenges, among them a state funding formula that gives Manchester only 10% of their funding from the state, well below the average.

Visit the Manchester Township School District web site for more information.
